Demandware gives clients PCI DSS compliance

Demandware has become the first and (so far) only ecommerce platform provider to achieve compliance with version 1.1 of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

The latest version of the standard sets more stringent requirements for hosted providers handling and processing credit card data on behalf of third parties. Demandware has partnered with Security Metrics to perform the on-site audit of the Demandware eCommerce Platform.
